Description
Multiparametric MRI examination of the prostate is an informative non-invasive method that allows to assess the internal structure of the prostate, distinguish the character of changes and determine the prevalence of a pathological disease. Multiparametric MRI allows diagnosing not only inflammatory changes in the prostate (both acute and chronic), but also tumor pathologies (both benign and malignant).
MRI indications:
• elevated blood prostate-specific antigen (PSA)
• urination disorders (difficulty urinating, frequent urination, hematuria);
• anemia;
• discomfort during urinating (pain,), etc.
