Description
The shoulder joint is one of the most complex joints. The “golden” method of investigation of which is magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). MRI examination allows to detect pathologies such as accumulation of pathological fluid in the articular pockets, pathologies of the rotator cuff (complete or partial damage of muscle tendons), damage of articular cartilages and pathologies of the musculoskeletal system.
MRI indications:
• Joint and shoulder pain
• Restriction of movement (mainly lifting of the hand, limitation of rotator movements)
• Dislocations (habitual and pathological)
• Numbness in fingers, etc.
